医学博士,二级教授, 泰山学者。2001年毕业于中南大学湘雅医学院, 获博士学位, 2001年9月至2007年10月以高级访问学者在美国Baylor医学院心血管外科从事动脉粥样硬化和心脏发育的分子机理研究。 2008年10月受聘山东大学齐鲁医院心血管内科。现任山东大学心血管重构与功能研究教育部与卫生部重点实验室副主任。中华医学会心血管病分会委员,中华医学会心血管病转化医学分会委员,山东省老年医学会心血管分会副主任委员。作为课题负责人承担成国家“973”重点基础研究课题2项,国家自然科学基金重大研究项目2项,国家自然科学基金面上项目5项,主要学术骨干参与完成国家自然科学基金创新群体基金项目2项。获得国家自然科二等奖1项,教育部自然科学优秀成果二等奖1项
